Classic Espresso or 100% Arabica: Which Ferrara Is Yours?

Sorting green coffee beans by hand

Walk into most coffee shops today and you’ll face a wall of choices. We went the other way. We don’t offer many options — we offer the right ones. Four lines, each with a clear personality.

Classic Espresso — the flavour we grew up with

This is the heart of Ferrara Caffè: the cup you’d be served standing at the counter of a bar in Northern Italy.

  • In the cup: bold, full-bodied, with notes of dark chocolate and a dense, persistent crema.
  • Acidity: low. Sweetness and body lead.
  • Best for: espresso, ristretto, cappuccino and every milk drink, and the moka pot.
  • Choose it if: you like coffee that is rich, round and unmistakable — and you often add milk.

Bold. Rich. Unmistakable.

100% Arabica — for those seeking complexity

Built on high-grown Arabica, this line shows a different side of coffee.

  • In the cup: floral and citrusy, with notes of jasmine, bergamot and yellow fruit and a delicate sweetness.
  • Acidity: lively but balanced.
  • Best for: espresso drunk black, pour-over and filter, and anyone who wants to taste the difference between origins.
  • Choose it if: you drink your coffee without milk and enjoy discovering layers in the cup.

Limited Editions — when they’re gone, they’re really gone

Single origins from exceptional farms, roasted in small batches to preserve their soul. Each edition tells the story of one place and one harvest.

  • In the cup: it changes with every release — that’s the point.
  • Best for: pour-over and espresso, tasted slowly and without milk.
  • Choose it if: you’re curious, and you’d rather have something rare than something familiar.

Cold Brew Reserve — for the night

The Night line: a slow, concentrated extraction built for mixology, lounges and hotel bars.

  • In the cup: cacao, caramel and a silky body.
  • Best for: cocktails — starting with the signature Ferrara Espresso Martini — and cold serves.
  • Choose it if: your coffee moment starts after sunset.

A quick way to decide
